Post-graduate Diploma in Dietetics, University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg
Fully certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFM)
An expert with 24 years' experience in dietetic practice.
Lynda worked in the NHS before setting up in private practice in London in 2003, when she developed the programme which is the foundation of London Dietitians.
She qualified in South Africa, with a degree from the University of Pietermaritzburg in 1996, and she set up in private practice there before coming to England to meet family commitments.
After many years of doing regular clinics at Parkside Hospital, Cancer Centre London and Spire St Anthony's, Lynda has now consolidated her practice in Wimbledon and continues to work alongside many consultants including those from the London Rheumatology Clinic. She also works alongside a Functional Medicine GP, Dr Daniela Mo and offers joint appointments for those patients who are interested in a functional medicine approach to their illness.
In her experience on the effects of diet, she has seen the difference that diet can make to both chronic and acute conditions.
Diet can have such positive affects on how we feel, whether healthy or battling an illness or a chronic condition, and what we are able to achieve.
Lynda works closely with Alice Kershaw who specialises in IBS and other gut disorders.
